I purchased a whole soundproofing kit for
my ES. It was a kit that had been
designed for the IV. I only used a
portion of it. You certainly can have
what is left for $200 plus freight. I
don’t remember the company but I can get it for you tomorrow. There is 3 different
types of material. I paid about $1200 as
I recall.

Subject: [LML] Lancair IV
soundproofing
I would like to add soundproofing material to the
floor and sidewalls of my Lancair IV. I removed the old soundproofing in
those areas in order to complete another unrelated project. Since I was
not the original builder of my airplane, I do not know the origin of the
materials I removed. I am looking for suggestions/recommendations on
soundproofing materials that have worked for others. I would prefer
something that is closed cell and will not absorb liquids. I do not need
much as most of the airplane is very adequately soundproofed.
Thanks,
