The Golden West EAA Regional at Marysville (MYV) is June 29, 30 & July 1. We have everything.....and more. Don Barnes has again designed the great artwork for our t-shirts and poster. We need to show all the other aircraft types that LANCAIRS RULE! In order to park in the designated Lancair parking, arrival is necessary by 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Our parking gurus are going to make every effort to get the Lancairs parked together......on pavement! This is a real perk guys so in order to make it possible, please give me a quick response if you are going to attend so we can be sure to set aside enough spaces.....but please remember you will not be given priority parking with the Lancairs unless you arrive prior to 10:00 a.m. Lots to enjoy this year......The RENO RACERS will be back stronger than last year. Lots of Legacys are in this group so come see them roar! They'll be dazzling us during the waivered airspace with high speed fly-bys. They'll also be parked with the show performers next to the Golden West Merchandise tent --- be sure to stop in and say hi to me. I chair merchandise and EAA membership. Don's autographed posters are for sale there. And renew your EAA membership at the fly-in. GREAT PRIZES!!! We have EAA Members' only drawings -- MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS PRIVILEGES -- including a Concorde battery (of your choice), RENO RACE PACKAGE for the week w/reserved seating and parking, Aircraft Spruce & Wicks gift certificates; EAA gift certificates; Scheyden flip-up sunglasses; and more. Bring your personalized return address labels and speed up filling out the drawing slips. MIKE MELVILLE is the Saturday night banquet guest speaker. If you haven't heard Mike talk about his venture into space, it's spellbinding. Mike is a gracious speaker....don't miss him. Go to the web site www.goldenwestflyin.org for the NOTAM and schedule of activities. There will be a temporary tower. SEE YOU THERE! Claudette Colwell (Legacy in the paint shop!)
