I would like to add soundproofing material to the floor and sidewalls of= my Lancair IV. I removed the old soundproofing in those areas in ord= er to complete another unrelated project. Since I was not the origina= l builder of my airplane, I do not know the origin of the materials I remov= ed. I am looking for suggestions/recommendations on soundproofing mat= erials that have worked for others. I would prefer something that is = closed cell and will not absorb liquids. I do not need much as most o= f the airplane is very adequately soundproofed.
