Instead of using the jack points inboard of the inner gear doors, I am
planning to use the wing tie down locations. A threaded pin in the tie
down hole would be used to locate the jack pad. The 12"x6" pad itself
would be located spanwise directly under the main spar and it would be
able to pivot where it attaches to the hydraulic jack. When the wings
are removed, it would be a simple matter to use the stubwing outboard
main spar hole as the attach point. Does this sound like a reasonable
solution to getting the plane off the ground?
