It would also be nice to have the manuals and SB's on the web in some password protected area. I understand Lancair's business strategy of wanting to do it that way. I am for anything that can reduce storing old paperwork, and anything that automatically keeps the old paperwork up to date saves me lots of worries and trouble. For manuals and SB's, I suggest using Adobe Acrobat .pdf files. The reader software is freeware, and it allows you to browse, search for text, and print hardcopies. I wish I could do it now. I have already messed up some of the pages on my manual with epoxy and I just started. The pdf files themselves can also be made password protected. So Lancair would not need to worry about builders circulating the files to other unauthorized users.
