Hi all,
Just purchased an Artex ELT-200 and would appreciate any feedback as to
a good location for both transmitter and antenna.
On another issue, I recently completed making all the cuts in my .063
aluminum panel. When I started, this sheet was perfectly flat. The pilot
side has eight 3.15" openings as well as three 2.25" openings and all
were done with a hole punch. It's pretty clear that the process of
punching these holes has created some stress in the aluminum and the
finished panel no longer lies flat. Actually, there is about a 3/16" bow
at the center on the pilot side. This is not noticable when installed
and braced, but I'm wondering if there is a simple method for relieving
any stress which crept into the panel during the hole punch operation...
any thoughts?
Thanks,
Angier Ames
