You’re ok.  The new US currency has that color to it (pink/orange shading).  Supposedly makes them harder to counterfeit.

Happy travels.

Subject: [LML] Notes

I know this is off the LML topics, but my better ‘alf bought some USD in the major bank in Melbourne (not Fl.) bank a couple of days ago.

She decided to get a few USD$50 notes, all of which are straight from the US mint, or excellent photocopies.

When she showed them to me they were tinged PINK mainly all over the back of the notes.

Now I’m trying to decide whether we should be making this trip, as we were wondering if the colour of the notes were a subtle message for potential visitors. After all, there is an element here which has almost made “it” compulsory, if you know what I mean.

Either that, of the notes had been in my NG wheel well when it blew the pressure hose the other day, but then she didn’t get them until that afternoon.

Cheers

Dom
