I have just such a bottle too.  It's made by Puritan.  I'll try to get the
address and send it to you directly Bill.  To activate it, you just turn a
knob.  It has standard O2 connections.  It's made for just the sort of thing
you are looking for.

This was a small green oxygen cylinder, about 10 inches long and 2 inch
diameter, usually attached to a military harness or parachute, with about
a
10 minute supply of oxygen at 1800 PSI
