Ok, let us know.  Reminder: did you allow for water to drain between the ribs?  Just checking. 
 
Doubt very much about gaining any speed but I could be wrong again.

There's no doubt that the aileron leading edge is flexing, I can see where the paint has cracked and flaking. I've installed four small ribs made from 4 bid on each aileron. All I need to do now is fly it and see if it fixed the problem. I was wondering if I'll gain a knot or two if the ailerons stop fluttering. When the rain stops I'll find out....
