Hi All:

2 questions on an LIV:

a.  Does anyone know the purpose of the green wire on the LIV hydraulic Pump? No mention in the manual, except to say that the blue wire is positive and the black wire is common.  I have a suspicion that the green to common  might be a  quick-stop option for the pump in a different application since I did measure 1.1 ohm from blue to black  while green to black measures about 0.2 ohms and blue to green is open.  Just curious????

b).  Trying to locate what was commonly referred to as a "bail-out bottle".  This was a small green oxygen cylinder, about 10 inches long and 2 inch diameter, usually attached to a military harness or parachute, with about a 10 minute supply of oxygen at 1800 PSI.    It was activated by pulling a small green wooden ball, called the apple.  Like to use one for emergency letdown in a IV-P.

Appreciate the help.
