This was due to exactly the problems of turning the the fuselage with the stabilizer attached. I did not find any problem doing what I did. In my experience you have to assemble a lot of the the plane out of sequence if only to ensure that the whole thing fits together and you do not have too many "Gotchas". At the present moment I am working the installation of the hydraulics, gas lines, auto pilot servos, instrument panel, rudder pedals, centre console, flight controls and cockpit false floors all with the aim of ensuring compatibility and non interference with each other. Granted there is a lot of hot melt glue being used but I hope to achieve success eventually. It is easy to rip it out with hot glue and start again.
