Has anyone else had a problem with the leak around the guide key retainer? My strut was rebuilt by Lancair in 2004 for this problem and had a new guide key retainer installed while the plane was still being built.  It made its first flight  on Dec 19,2006. I checked the strut two weeks ago (inspired by this list) and found that it is leaking from the guide key retainer again. I e-mailed Tim and Joe last week about it but I have not heard back from them. I called Tuesday and talked to Michelle in parts.  She said I needed to talk to Scott Decker but he is not taking calls right now, I left a message but he has not returned my call either. Anyone have any suggestions?

Marv, I too want to thank you for this list. I have been here since 1997 and remember when you took it over. Great Job!!  And to all the people still building (mine took 9 1/2 years) you will forget all the pain of building when you are flying a plane that you built, I wish I could express what a thrill it is. So keep building! I never thought I would get there , but I had a lot of help from this list and other builders.  A special thanks to Chris Zavatson, Bucky Whitter, and Peter Barber whom I don't think I would have finished without there help and inspiration over all these years.
