I don't have any idea about whether it is a scam or not, but the references to Bidder 1, Bidder 2, etc are something EBay has started doing. It has something to do with providing more detailed bidding history without disclosing the ID of the bidder to help prevent scams and prank bidders. The seller and of course the bidder who placed the bid can see the real user names who placed the bid. Matt McManus LNC2 360 [Thanks for the input, Matt.
