In an = emergency, particularly if injured, they could be a major challenge to = reach. Any modifications from the field? I adapted the later tilt-up canopy and = associated lock down mechanism to my early airframe. If you have the = original parallelogram style canopy, then Dan's lock arrangement is a = good way to go in lieu of the four hasps.
