I usually fly every time I'm in UK which means I end up going a month or so with the aircraft inactive. However, last time home, my Dad the primary builder of G-MT passed away and with all the other distractions I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to fly. Hence the engine has not been run and the aircraft has been sitting in a hanger for over 3 months inactive. Obviously I will give it a thorough pre-flight, checking for water in the static system etc.( Thanks Brent for the reminder. I also have 2 static vents " T'd " together with a small drain reservoir on each on that I can access behind the seats ) I'll also run the engine up to temperature and probably do some high speed taxi runs again prior to flight. Is there anything else that any of you fellow LNC-2 drivers can recommend checking or doing prior to flying an aircraft that has been hanger bound for 3 ½ months ? I have not yet done the work required by SB 0050-0999 but did look at the gear mounting etc. when last home as saw no cracks or delamination around the area in question. As my annual is due in January, I plan to do the work by then ( within 20 flying hours of the notification ) and will also have to renew my Permit to fly with our PFA in UK. I remember seeing a list previously that someone compiled of things to do and check on an LNC-2 for its annual. Can someone remind me where I may find it or forward me a copy under separate cover. Many thanks and fly safely, Michael Holland G-PJMT >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
