Some of the advantages are that you can roll it on with a special foam roller. It does not have a strong odor and apparently is not toxic. The problems we have found is that it is very slow to dry between coats which uses up a lot of time. They recommend 6 to 8 coats of primer and this can take days. Any oil residue at all on the surface will NOT cover. Since it is water based it does not set up quickly and we have found no way to avoid serious runs. You can have a paint coat that looks fine and come back 10 minutes later and find a big run in it. Still Trying but I think I will go to PPG Concept.
