I was very excited to learn that you lowered your stall speed
to 63 . I hope you mean miles per hour. This has been my biggest
concern, sense I will be based out of a 1700ft grass runway and need to slow the plane as much as possible.
Although you are completely correct in the fact that the ES wings
have not been analyzed with the 105 gal capacity ,  It seems to
me that in flight,The wings are supporting themselves as well as the
fuselage, and not the other way around ,and the extra weight in the wings would have little adverse affects on wing stress, and
may even improve the situation. { Disclaimer: I am not an engineer
and this is purely speculation}.  Several certified planes have had STCs for increases in fuel volume
even including large wing tip tanks and I speculate its because
of this self supporting theory.  If I'm  wrong hear I expect I will hear about it from the engineers who read this forum.
Also Jim, Why are you building a second ES? Are you a glutton
for punishment ? Are you selling you first one ? Just curious.
May I also apologies to lancair and Carsten, It seems that 1900lbs
is an obtainable figure.
