In the case of my Lancair-235/320 I have a 54 gallon capacity that I take advantage of on a regular basis. Most of the time my bladder doesn't cooperate, but on a regular commute between San Diego and Seattle I can often make it nonstop (solo). I'm very satisfied that I maxed out my fuel capacity. I know I would have regretted not having this capability.
