Second note to Bill Hogarty:

OOOPS! sorry Bill. I just re-read your post (right after sending the earlier
message) and I realize that you were talking about a solenoid actuator
rather than what is often referred to here as a "solenoid" (meaning power
relay). My mistake, comes from being too relaxed now that I'm retired - or
maybe the onset of "old-timer's desease". (Hpe not).

I hope someone with some recent experience in this area can advise you.
