My 320 currently has lots of electronic items – Sandel EHSI, Garmin 430’s, STEC autopilot (replaces the Turn Coordinator), and ONE vacuum instrument – the Attitude Indicator. I like the idea of one of these 2 ¼” AI’s – it would be an ADDITION to what I am already flying. I fly lots of IFR, and my current backup is… the autopilot within the electric TC. Another AI would be a benefit, and I’d have lot’s of time to compare it to the primary (and TC) to check it’s functionality. If my primary fails – it’s an EMERGENCY = LAND. Better than my current nothing? Matt
