Now thinking about it, one of the main reasons I wanted the Parachutes was because of the potential of Icing on long trips and the poor engine out glide of the legacy without a full feathering Prop. With the development of De-Ice for the Legacy and a Full Feathering Counter weighted Prop. I now feel comfortable enough to forgo the Parachutes. Also I found that I can use the De-Ice Alternator as a back-up, so I can forgo the 20 Amp back-up.


Little by little it's coming together.
