See attached photo: the two square buttons arm and disarm the de-ice. I have light weight 4-blade full-feathering counterweighted MT prop. It is lighter than the 3-bladed Hartzell. With empty tanks and just the pilot I am still within the forward envelope. Or at least I was. Just found that the stations as listed by Lancair are not exact for my build (shoulda known that - it's EXPERIMENTAL for goodness sake!). We are going back to measure, reweigh and recalculate the beast. Still believe that there will be no problem though. Robert """ I am getting/waiting for the system for my plane. I made a place for the switch and lights in my panel. What did you do for the indicator lights? I have a 100 amp 24V and a 40 amp 24V back-up and I will have the 70V for the De-ice. Also, how does the extra weight affect your W&B, what Prop did you go with? I am getting concerned about the Hartzell's weight. I want to go with the full feathering counterweighted Hartzell with the lV's hub, which means the Prop set-up will be heaver and 1" forward from the normal position. I am starting to think I may need to go with the MT? """
