The HP multiplier for LOP is based on
the BSFC(min). In the engines with 8.5:1 CR it is 14.9. In
the 7.5:1 engines it is about 13.7.

Walter, do 8.5:1 engines peak at the same, higher,
or lower fuel flow?
(I think this amounts to asking if the displacment
is actually the same,
it would be if the crankshaft is the
same)
If the same, then an 8.5:1 engine has 9% more power
at peak. right?
