The leading edges had leading edge tape. On the inside portion of the wing the leading edge tape had small, what looked like, vortex generators. The vortex generators were spaced about every 1.5". Has anyone else seen, used or have an opinion about this tape? The Columbia is a certified aircraft. Does the tape have to be on the plane? Is the tape STCed? -- Lorn H.
