 Avionics Technician

 Lancair Avionics, Inc. is searching for an Avionics Technician to assemble,
wire, test, and installs avionics panels for Lancair and other experimental
aircraft.
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 Applicants should be proficient in FAA wiring procedures and acceptable
industry standards.  The will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in
both wiring and building avionics panels.  Fiberglass experience is a plus.
 
 
 
 Highly Qualified Candidates:
 
        Experience and training in electronics technology and avionics (2 year
degree), and/or
 
       AHS in Advanced Electronics Technology/Avionics
 
       Experience in building instrument panels and wiring aircraft, or
 
       Equivalent military experience in avionics/aircraft electronics
 
 
 
 Duties:
 
 Avionic Technicians are expected to develop and maintain professional
relationships with customers and be a good team player.  They assist other
technicians when needed.  Technicians will be required to install, wire and
troubleshoot on board different experimental aircraft.
