Sure Ron was late with his delivery, but not as late as the other SoCal performance engine shop was when I bought a Lyc for my other homebuilt. The TSIO-550 was delivered in the condition contracted for and at the agreed to price. The engine has been great except for leaky turbos--oil leaking out after engine shutdown. I traced the problem to a faulty check valve--a new TCM check valve supplied by Lancair as part of their hose kit. Ron helped with the diagnosis over the phone, as did Mark Mahnke by the way. I ran my engine to full power last Friday in anticipation of first flight soon and Ron came to me at Chino at no expense to do the tuning. So mark me down as a very happy customer, and no I do not race at Reno--but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
