After thinking about it, I will probably start doing
the same in my put the airplane away routine.

Randy. I do the open dump valve/pump run a couple
seconds just to relieve
the pressure off the system. I see no need to lock
the down side hyd.
pressure in the system when it is sitting in the
hangar. Maybe it makes no
sense but it does no harm and it works for me.
