It doesn't look like a bird strike to me. Maybe a car
strike?

This Piper Arrow landed after hitting a turkey
vulture in Florida. There were two Pilots ferrying
it someplace when they whacked the bird. They said
it flew fine this way - a little mushy on the
landing. Took the guys hair off, too..
