 This is what I tell my passengers before we fly (Turbo Arrow IV).
 
 If we have an emergency landing, before we touch down, unlock and crack
 open the door just incase the landing is a bit hard and we bend the
 fuselage.  This way the door won't be jammed and we can get out.
 
 Still trying to work out the phraseology so I don't make them too
 nervous....
