To Install the fuel pickup the manual say to run 3/8 " aluminum line through a phenolic insert through the BL 50 ribs. Could I simply pot a 1/2 inch brass insert at the fuel pickup area for a removeable fuel strainer? Does it make a difference that the fuel strainer runs from left to right instead of front and rear postion? Thanks for any input.
