 I installed my own A/C system for approx $ 2K,

TCM has an A/C compresser mount that fits on the rear of the TSIO 550,  (Accessary for the Malibu). .  The evaporator mounts in the rear and uses the overhead console to bring cool air into the cabin.  The condenser mounts under the baggage comp. floor  and I use a 4 inch 12 volt  blower to dunp the heat from the condenser.

Pretty simple, nothing in the cabin and no scoop under the belly.  Let me know if you need any details.  Regards, Bill Hogarty
