Thursday Evening
8/24/06
Mike,
I have flown a friend's IV-P (Dennis Pratt - s/n 54) a number of times and have never noticed any excessive contol pressure required. It is nothing like the pressures required for our Bonanza - if that is a good yardstick. I have noticed that any trim corrections, especially pitch trim, need to be in small increments. The first time I hit the down pitch trim button on the "coolie hat", we took on heck of a nosedive! <grin>
Sounds like leaning the sticks inward corrects most of the problems with interference.
