 interesting but yet void of any scientific research.
 
 But that is what we are in this for, right?  We are building
 experimental birds, we should therefore be experimenting, learning, etc.
 
 Since the price of a propeller is so expensive.  I wonder if some of us
 could get together and design some tests that we would perform that
 could actually give us this information.  We may not be able to benefit
 directly from it as we have already put $$ down on a prop, but, it would
 help future builders.  Heck, it may even inspire someone to build a
 better prop...
 
 I see some test plans designed and instrumentation requirements figured
 out.  Then a few legacies get together over the period of a week or so,
 install instrumentation, swapping props, flying and collecting data.
 
 We could have these tests reviewed by folks and make sure we have
 something that would:
 
 1.  Account for discrepancies in engine performance.
 2.  Account for differences in atmospheric conditions.
 3.  Really give us information that would be valuable in selecting the
 best propeller (if there is such a thing).
 
 I think it would be a very interesting and fun project...and educational
 to boot.
