I ordered (and paid) for a new MT prop (directly from MT) @ SNF and was told 17 weeks lead time to my door. Soon after they said it would be late due to order backlogs. I'm still waiting. They have been responsive to my inquiries, but last official word was perhaps Nov - and that is shipping from Germany. Add transit time to US + assembly time at their service center here as it is shipped disassembled + shipping to me. (I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get it this year at all). Also, I was sold the "price to my door", but the order confirmation from Germany says price from there factory. We'll see?? At OSH, they said they were past their backlog problems and were thus quoting 17 weeks on new orders again. Hmmmm? I'm not ready to fly at all, so It's really not a big deal for me - but others beware. I inquired as to a used/loaner/rental prop for taxi tests - and they offered no assistance. 20+ weeks and counting. I'll report when it finally comes. Rick p.s. Their "counterweighted" prop also requires a different governor (or a modification/overall to reverse the actuation)
