He has been identified as Gary Palmer from Ottawa Canada. The report also states that he was the president of the Ottawa EAA Chapter. I know or New a guy from Canada that owned a Lancair 235 like my first Lancair. We used to compare notes at every fly in. He had an accident in his 235 many years ago when he thru a prop blade (Warp Drive Prop I think) and successfully dead sticked it into a field (he walked away). The insurance Co. totaled it and he bought it from them and has been in the process of rebuilding it for a long long time. I was just talking to him at Sun n Fun and he told me that he was getting close to finishing it. I hope and pray that it is not him, but that seems like a lot of coincidences if it is not. The age is also about right. Tom Byrnes Lancair IV N54TB -------------------------------1154453240 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
