I have an Andair fuel valve with the six inch extension. While installing the valve in the center console area, I found that I need to offset the selector handle from the valve body to clear the elevator push tube. Lancair sells a universal joint made by Andair for just this purpose. I received the U joint last week but I can't figure out how it is supposed to be attached. One end of the U joint fits the extension handle just perfectly. The other end, however, is too large for either the extension handle or the valve spindle. This larger end has 3 roll pins installed as well. Am I missing a part here? If there is someone who has this U joint arrangement that can explain how this was attached I would greatly appreciate your help.
