Unfinished Kit. Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sorry about this commercial listing of a plane for sale, but you are all the knowledge base that I need to facilitate this sale. I have been asked by a widow to sell a partially completed kit Lancair 4P. I have photos if anyone is interested. It is a 2000 Kit and is currently a completed airframe on gear with windows and doors. There is no panel, no interior, no paint, no engine or mount, just a pretty complete airframe with cowling. The engine that was going to go on it was a V8 430 cu in racing engine with a geared drive for the prop. I understand that these engine/gearbox combinations are not good. The plane can be and is best sold without this engine so that a buyer can use a Continental 550 in it. The question I have is what is this worth as it is as an unfinished project. Also, where would I advertise it to sell it. Thank you. Kind regards, Mark Pilkington P.S. I can e-mail photographs of it if this helps.
