 Here we go again!  ;)  I have them, and like them, but I fly other  stuff
that has them, so I'm conditioned to both use them and remember  them.  They
are great for keeping speed under control during slam  dunk approaches without
going to flight idle, etc.  Do you need  them?  No, I had mine out for 6
months...but now that they're back  in, they're sure nice to have!
