I have the first coat of paint on my elevators and last night I put them together and found that they are going to be light.

I think some guys here have said that they used a slurry mix of tungston to add weight. My question is How much weight were you able to add this way?  and where can you get it?

 

When I put this together five years ago I thought I had more than enough lead in them. So much for

Await the weight until final paint.  I drilled holes into the inside of the horn and added lead pellets in micro.  The filled hole area is not visible unless the elevator is displaced quite a bit from the in trail position.
