I agree with Dan Scharfer.  Retrofit of an LNC2 from small tail to big tail
is a big job and is not worth the effort.  The quoted "neutral pitch
stability at low air speed" of the small tail is easy to get used to after a
few hours of flying it and presents no problem.  Also, you don't have to worry
about the potential flutter problem with the small tail.  Although, at this
point, I tend to think that the flutter problem is a myth generated by a
faulty analysis.
