Thank goodness he cleared that one up. Lancairs fit in that wide space
between "un-safe" and "not-safe". WTF??!! With logic like that, this
guy should be running for CONgress (the opposite of PROgress).
I do believe the plane Reink IS associated with is the Envoy
http://www.sreyaaviation.com/. The hull of said same was on display at
OSH last. It was the GAFUB northwest of the Lancair tent. Fixed gear,
unpressurized turbine (retract optional). Now there is your next
airplane......NOT
Sorry Reink, Epic has already been there, done that, got the T-shirt,
wrassled the FAA and won! But heck, every supermodel needs an ugly
girlfriend. Do I see a market niche?
What we REALLY need is a safer world. So freaking safe that the most
common cause of death is boredom. You wouldn't worry about dying
because you would never really live.
David's death is tragic. It would be just as tragic if he were killed
in a car or boat or in his shower. When its my time, I want to go like
David. Happy doing something you love one moment, Saint Peter the next.
No pain. No suffering. Sign me up.
What is really shameful is some opportunistic wannabe trying to turn
the moment to his marketing advantage. My sense of decorum prevents me
from rendering my honest opinion of such a man, but Reink, lacking
same, knows my mind.
