I am convinced that there is always overlap between the painted-on Hysol and the sealant as I inspected it closely. When I said you could "see through" I meant that light would go through the thin Hysol areas more than the sealant, which is pretty much opaque. I am convinced that there are no bare prepreg areas within the tanks. So I guess I am okay.
