I like your idea about the 1/4 plastic under the hydraulic and fuel lines.  How did you fasten the high density plastic together to form a "T"  this stuff doesn't like any kind of glue does it?  Also how about using short pieces of 1/4 ID rubber tubing around each tube at each end of the tunnel to keep the tubes from rubbing on the floor?
