I would very much like to have direct ram air available as well as warmer filtered air for ground operation and potential icing conditions. I'm thinking of a "Y" arrangement where one side goes directly to the cowl opening and the other is filtered and draws air from below the engine. A pair of butterfly valves would accomplish the switch over. Is anyone aware if such an arrangement is in use and where I might get the parts? I would be interested in any other solutions which effectively accomplish the same objective. All suggestions are appreciated.
