Don,
   I have a 550-N in my Legacy with about 65 hours on it.  I have taken a close look at the FADEC in Bob Fairs Legacy.  My feelings are that the wiring and trouble shooting  would be enough to keep me away.  There is too much to go wrong and fixing it is not just like replacing a mag.  Get photos from Lancair on the installation in Bob's plane.
   I would wait a while to see if this systems works in the long run.That is not proven yet.
