I just returned from an airshow at Randolph AFB in San Antonio, Air Force
invited Lancair to be in the technology hangar. I had to fill out three
forms, 2400, 2401 and 2402, one is proof of insurance, once processed they
gave me a PBR #. It was cool sharing a hangar with the F117A.

Subject: [LML] Question for LML retired AF pilots
I just tried to get a ppr to visit McConnell AFB for a few days. The guy a
the base ops desk told me I needed a "Civil Aircraft Landing Permit". I
was
almost certain that flying into AF and Army fields was one of our
benefits.
Anyone know for sure? I'm heading there this Sunday AM. Does anyone know
how
to get the permit ASAP? Does anyone know how to work around the problem
without getting a permit?
