I called the maker last year, maybe it was summer, and was told the
replacement check ball would be available in "a few months", please call
back.  I never did.  The blurb sheet which came with the unit is on my desk
taking up space (any flat surface).
OK, I just called Micheal Engineering and got a fast busy, twice.  I'll try
again and report back.
