and I wired our Lancair IV-P stick grips through such a junction box. Makes
it much easier to configure, wire, and trouble shoot when needed--and if you
have as much wire in your cockpit as we do, you will need to troubleshoot some
day. This method makes it easy to change the functional configuration if
desired, and allowed me to further complicate the system/circuit by adding a
resistor to slow the pitch trim speed when the gear was
retracted.

Regan told me years ago that the best possible electrical circuit was one with
no splices nor more than two connections, but in this case, a deviation seemed
warranted...
