Was just about to fab the elevator control horns for my 235 but could not locate the 1"x2"x0.125" AL angle in any of my boxes.  The plans don't have the material callout 6061-T6 vs 2024-T3 but the elevator "U" channel appears to be 6061.  Is 6061 the correct alloy for these control horns or is the higher strength of 2024 needed here?
