a wide berth (say 20 miles), and in reality fly very close to it.
Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts?
Hi Matt,
I have not had that experience. Have you checked the elapsed time on
the image when that happened? I know that if reception is poor
(blocked antenna, etc.) I might not get the normal updates every 5
minutes. It can miss a cycle or two. In that case the displayed image
can get fairly old but that's easy to monitor.
You might want to check your signal strength in the "connection
window" or whatever they call it. I think they told me you need an
error rate of less than 10 on at least one satellite to get reliable
nexrad downloads.
